MATURITY IN CHILDISHNESS (My life continued...) Many people have doubted my genuiness. They often asked if am for real. Until they understand where I come from. Am so simple than people expect. I cant say one thing while I mean the other. When am hurting I say it, when am happy I say it. When I need help I say it. I have seen people miss God and live a lie just because they want to sound deep and complex and be dignified. But here it from me... When I was young I used to think complexity was close to knowing God. People would say complex statements, and sound complex and wow! I admired them. They seemed to have a deeper revelation of God. God was like a puzzle to me. I always wondered how I could attract Him in to my life.I prayed hard, fasted. I desired to know the complexity of God. One morning I had a very strange encounter with the Lord, I found myself there, somethings I cant share. But only went to be taught a simple a lesson,what I thought I already knew. There was no deep revelation but only simple words ...am the God of simple genuine hearts...have the childs heart and when you pray I will answer, when you cry I will come That changed my life forever. I had to teach my heart the truth until my mouth got it as well. I was still fresh from this encounter when one night a night prayer, I just took the micro phone and sang a song to Him with the simplicity of the heart that meant every word. Just a simple song. God came down!! I never knew what happend but people started crying and rolled down in repentance. Afterwards people asked me, what was that? Having grown now I learnt its the simplicity of my heart that can attract God. The Childs heart. The heart of a child does not hold grudges. A child cries now and later comes back to you. A child is genuine. When you betray a child, she wont hate. They will later forget and come for you to lift them up again. I have chosen to live like a child, it may look foolish but thats Gods wisdom.
