MAURITIUS - MALAYSIA BUSINESS FORUM On 12 March 2014, Mr. Fadil Ruhomutally Director of Malaysia Education Centre (MEC) and Mrs Cirphy Voon from SEGi University Malaysia attended the Mauritius - Malaysia Business Forum held at Grand-Baie international Conference Centre, Mauritius. The Mauritian delegation was led by the Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Mr Xavier-Luc Duval and the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Consumer Protection, Mr Cader Sayed Hossen. The Malaysian side was represented by the Chief Guest,Mr Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohammed. SEGi University is rated Tier 5 Excellent category by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. SEGi Education Group is one of the biggest education group in Malaysia and one of the most popular universities that Mauritian students go for higher studies. Mr Bruce Lim, Vice President of SEGi University also attended the event. SEGi was among the very few universities from Malaysia that was selected to follow the Chief Guest to Mauritius and attend official functions.
