MAX (4mo Malti-Poo). Well, I was concerned about this.... Sylvia did not work with Max during the week. She is frustrated because Max wont respond to her and does not come to me or follow me around. Max is very nervous around her, feeding off of her frustration so again, we discussed the importance of working with Max everyday and building a rapport (trust and confidence). She was also frustrated that Max wouldnt work for his kibble. I explained that we need to offer a treat of higher value to motivate him. I asked her to stay inside this session and let me work with Max. We went over Lesson #1 again and he responded very well to me and my rewards. I had Sylvia come back outside and showed her what we accomplished. She will work with him more this week......
