PERMISSION TO CROSSPOST GRANTED & APPRECIATED – NO CRAIGSLIST!! **COMMITMENT TO DRIVING**Do not volunteer to drive if you are not committed to showing up on time on transport day. Relay transports cannot operate if there is a missing link in the chain, and the rescue animals suffer as a result. If an emergency arises that prevents you from driving you must notify the transport coordinator as soon as possible. Please be respectful of the entire team that has been assembled. DRIVERS: Route times are rounded up to the nearest 5 minutes, with 15 minutes added in between for bathroom/gas/food/potty breaks. Additional time has also been added for travel through metropolitan areas. Please note that the nature of transport creates some risk for those involved. The animals can be sweet, but are under a great deal of stress in the rescue and transport phases.
