MAXIMUM FITNESS: Did you know that for every 1 lb of muscle you gain, your body burns an extra 50 calories per day? This means I must gain a total of 70 pounds of muscle mass to burn 3,500 calories per day and enjoy some not so healthy treats...pizza, a huge steak, a beer or several. :) So, tomorrow I work out again and begin my "journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." quote by Chinese Philosopher Lao-tzu (604 BC - 531 BC).
