MAY 1, 2014, from RACER: RACER Trust is pleased that the Yankee Air Museum has reached this point in the process to acquire a portion of the hangar at the former Willow Run Powertrain Plant, and looks forward to completing this transaction if Yankee Air Museum is able to resolve potential third-party infrastructure challenges to its satisfaction. The Museum is to be congratulated for successfully reaching out to thousands of dedicated volunteers and supporters in its fund-raising effort. Our mutual goal remains to see the former hangar redeveloped as the future home of the Museum, an outcome the community clearly supports.
