MAY MADNESS! Its game day as the 8th graders prepare to take on the Faculty in Villas Spring Basketball Classic and the drama continues to build. The Faculty had been favored to win until this morning when it was announced that an injury will keep one of their star players, Teri Rutledge, out of the game. This devastating loss has left the Faculty team in panic mode as they search for a new key to victory. Rumor has it that Norma Jenner is prepared to offer a lucrative contract in a frantic attempt to sign a replacement player by game time. In another camp are Ben Draper and rookie Angela Dugan who favor a uniform-based strategy to overcome the Eighth Graders. Meanwhile, Alex Cooper, in a desperate attempt to unite and inspire his team, has issued the emotional battle cry, “Remember Rutledge!” We don’t know what to expect with tipoff just a few hours away!
