MAYA According to Schopenhauer the great Western Philosopher who studied and loved the Upanishads, a priori in the organ of cognition i.e the brain, are time , perceived as succession, and space, the theatre stage on which the world dream is played, and causality, the perceived law of cause and effect. This insight is a help in comprehending the mysterious power of Maya i.e inherent in the ego mind.
