MBDSBS2 Acknowledgements First and foremost, I have to thank God for allowing me to showcase my talent. Without him, NONE of this would be possible. My Daddy: I love you with everything I have! We’ve taught each other a lot in different aspects. You’ve done most of the teaching. I thank you for everything; every struggle, trial, and tribulation. You’ve seen me at my weakest and at my strongest. Every decision I make, you voice your opinion but always leave the final decision up to me. Being twelve hundred miles away is one of the hardest things ever. I love and miss you so much and I’m counting down the days until I come home! My Mama: I love you woman, without you there is no me. You’re one of my biggest supporters and the biggest pain in the behind but that’s what makes you who you are. You’re one of a kind and although sometimes a handful, I wouldn’t trade you for the world. Butta: my best friend in the entire world. You’ve literally had my back through everything whether I was right or wrong. You’ve seen me at the worst of times; well what I felt like was the worst of time. I’ve cried with you, laughed with you and vented to you and not once did you turn me away. I couldn’t have asked for a better big sister and I thank God every day for placing you into my life, well me into yours. Rayna, Budda, Matthew, Marquis & Stephanie: I love you all more than words could ever express and there is NOTHING in this world that would change that! Armani & Gianni: The two of you give me life! Your smiles make my days brighter; your laughs make everything seem okay. I can’t even put into words how much it hurts that there is four months of your lives that I have to see through pictures, but I know it’s all for the better. I love the two of you beyond words and can’t wait to meet your baby brother in February. Always know auntie has you for anything you may ever need. My aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents: I love you all and I thank you for the push that you all give me on a daily basis. Ant: man oh man, have we been through it this last year. Ask anybody a year ago; nobody would’ve imagined us being where we are today. Through the tears, arguments, laughs and long talks, it’s evident that we have a bond that’s stronger than most. Despite all that we’ve gone through, you’ve remained my best friend. We connected back as if nothing ever happened. I love you kid and that’ll never change. Tamara: Five and a half years ago, you welcomed me with open arms into your family. I’ve came to you when things got tough and no matter the time, you sat outside with me and did nothing but listen. I’ve cried to you and poured my pain into your lap and each and every time, you were there. Even when times were tough, you still remained. Blood couldn’t make us any closer! I love you Huna and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Jermell Johnson: I’ve toyed around with what I wanted to say to you. I’ve known you damn near all my life and for the last year, you’ve played a HUGE roll in my life. You listened to me and never hesitated to ask me daily how I was doing. I’ve grown to love you like a mother. I know these last few months have been extremely hard and every day that I think about it, it brings me to tears. I love you so much and I know that my Kijah is with all of us daily. This one is for HER! Kevina, Natissha, Chevone, Jenn, Lisa, Steph, Jaton, and Janisha: the eight of you are one of a kind and I couldn’t ask for a better group of ladies. Through the toughest of times, y’all help get me through. I don’t rock with too many females but I know y’all will always be there! Deasia Ford: I remember that time you came into my inbox and gave me your opinion on part one. You then proceeded to break it down and go in depth with your thoughts. You also gave me great ideas that’ll definitely come into use for part three. I told you I would shout you out in part two and I meant it! Thank you. Yoshi Chance: Who would’ve thought that one little conversation would’ve turned into what we are now? I can’t put into words how much I love and appreciate you. There hasn’t been a time where I haven’t been able to count on you. You’ve helped me get through this project with our crazy late night vamp sessions. Your hard work and dedication pushed me and for that alone, I’m forever grateful! Alicia: Just think, if you hadn’t reminded me that it was the day before my set deadline, when would this book have been done? It’s because of you that half of this book was written in two days.
