MBK is a CHURCH where the Pastor...... is not the head. Jesus Christ, is the head, and the Pastor (Shepard) figures within the Church (Gathering together of the Saints) are just equals with the teachers, with the treasurer/accountant, equal with the Planter..... everyone has specific functions and roles, but there are no positions or heirarchy..... there is no one to be looked UP TO, except for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. People have called what we are doing, even though I denied it, A Church.... and said just accept it, call it what it is..... you are teaching, preaching, baptizing into the name of Jesus..... then I thought about it..... yes, and we are going into the prisons, feeding the hungry, visiting the sick and the widows.... what else could we be???? We are a Church (Gathering together of Saints), BASED upon OUTWARD FAITH. OUTWARD MISSIONS. When you dont have a Temple to meet in, it gets pretty easy to be OUTWARD DIRECTED.... which is the way it always should have been.
