MCA Battle August Chronology : How Liow Comrades is Weakning Liow Camp ? – Part 4 ( August ) How Liow Himself Contradicts ? On August 6 , Liow was suggesting that Chinese NGOs hoping MCA will be represented in Cabinet . Then on August 7 , reported by Free Malaysia Today , Liow was however non-committal when asked whether MCA would consider quitting Barisan Nasional to fulfill requests from certain segments of the Chinese community. He first said the matter was not raised in the meeting yesterday, but conceded later that it was only a way to encourage MCA to be more vocal.“We agree with their demands that MCA should be more courageous in speaking up for the community. But look, today we are no longer in the government, what fear do we have now?“We will be more straightforward from now on,” he said. His statement immediately drew a retort from a reporter, who asked: “if this is the case, that you have no fear by being outside of the government, why is there a need to rejoin the government (posts) then?”Liow did not reply to the question, as while he was still composing his answer, ACCIM president Lim Kok Cheong, who was also present at the press conference, quickly came to his rescue. How can Liow on 1 hand suggested to be inside the cabinet and on the other hand promoting that if MCA is not inside the cabinet is actually a good thing when MCA leaders can be more vocal ? As a Deputy President he still can afford to self contradictory and his supporters can quickly came to his rescue him but if he were to ever be MCA President then is he still expecting his to always rescue him ? So what is actually Liow stand now ? Not being in the cabinet which is a good thing that MCA leaders can be more vocal or MCA should be part of the cabinet ? If he agree then why he do not suggest to call for EGM to reverse MCA decision when both party President Dr Chua and Secretary General said that it can be reversed if anybody were to call for an EGM ? And by taking Liow suggestion that Chinese NGO wanted MCA into the cabinet then is this not the same reason why the Sultan Johor wanted to appoint Datuk Tee Siew Keong as an EXCO in Johor ? Sultan Johor wanted a Chinese representative and Chinese to be part of the government. Liow is making the whole world confusing with what is actually his real stand when he keep own contradict among himself and even among his comrades ? If a simple thing as simple as Yes or No is also so hard for Liow to make a stand then how on earth he is capable to be the next MCA President ? Disunity Among Liow Supporters Earlier it was 20 divisions who ask Dr Chua to resign then 2 months later it became just 5 divisions from 20. In August , from 5 divisions it end up become 8. How come the number of divisions is so inconsistent from time to time ? Is there any team work in anti Chua fraction or actually they are equally divided themselves ? On August 3, 14 Kedah Divisions came out to Slam MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai cannot escape blame for the party’s worst-ever showing during Election 2013 if Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek is forced out over the same issue, members of 14 Kedah branches insisted today.Pointing to a recent effort to oust Dr Chua from the presidency, the group pointed out that Liow — who intends to contest for the position during party polls in November — was put in charge of MCA’s efforts ahead of the general election.“The president is not the only person who should be responsible for the MCA’s electoral defeat.Among the signatories are the Padang Terap division, Pokok Sena division, Alor Setar division, Jerlun division, Pendang division, Merbok division, Jerai division, Baling division, Sungai Petani division, Kulim division, Sik division, Kuala Kedah division, Padang Serai division, Langkawi division, Dr Leong Yong Kong and Kulim Chua Thiong Gee, respectively Gurun and Kulim Gurun assemblyman. On August 5 , Sixteen Selangor MCA divisions have announced their support for party president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek (pix) to remain as Penang Port Commission chairman. The divisions, led by Klang MCA chairman Datuk Teh Kim Poo, also declared support for Chua to remain as party president. They said this at a press conference Sunday, just days after eight division chairmen called for Chua to step down as the Penang Port Commission and to quit his his party president post.”It is unethical and unbecoming for the eight (division) chairmen to attack the president. Out of 20 Save MCA Divisions only 8 ask to take disciplinary action against Dr Chua and there are 14 Divisions in Kedah and 16 in Selangor which total up to 30 Divisions came out to back Dr Chua . That is almost 5 times the number of divisions that came out to protest against Dr Chua. So is 30 vs 8. How Liow Is Weakening His Own Camp ? On August 1 The Save Party Committee 3.0 and 8 divisions chief came out to submit MCA President Dr Chua to disciplinary board and on August 14 Liow himself rejected the application to refer President to Disciplinary Board . “We find that his (MCA Wangsa Maju Division Chairman Dato’ Yew Teng Look) request was not according to the party’s complaints procedure,” said Tiong Lai.. “So, the Presidential Council has decided to reject Wangsa Maju’s application to refer Soi Lek to the Disciplinary Board,” said Tiong Lai. This is another internal differences among he and his people. How Liow Comrades is Weakening the Camp ? On August 12 , Donald told Berita Harian that MCA President can only be replaced through the proper election and MCA is a party that believe in democracy. But such a statement is contradicting with his own earlier statement on May 10 to call for Dr Chua Soi Lek to make Way and resign. Is Donald implying that he himself , Liow , MCA Veterans , Save MCA Committee 3.0 Leaders do not belief in democracy ? Since Donald claim that only through election it is democratic and since the rest keep on asking to replaced the MCA President by asking Dr Chua to resign then it contradicts with what Donald belief in a fair election to decide who the next MCA President. So what is actually Liow camp stand ? To respect democracy in a proper election to decide who is the next MCA President or actually Dr Chua should resign undemocratically to give way to another person ? How come such a simple issue also they keep own contradicting among themselves ? - more please click - 1sya/?p=7642
