MCAP will be holding auditions for John Blenns Average Perfection, a critically-acclaimed lampoon of beauty pageants, Wednesday, June 11, from 7:30 pm to 9:30pm at the St. Francis Church (downstairs), located at 1752 Harton Ave., East Meadow, NY. It will be performed the Courthouse Theatre in Valley Stream, NY on July 19 & 20, 2014. Dress rehearsal will be in the space on Friday July 18, weekly rehearsals will be in East Meadow, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The shows will both be fundraisers, one for Bosom Buddies and one for One-In-Nine, both doing great work in the fight against Breast Cancer. Additional auditions will be Thursday, June 12 at the Valley Stream Community Center, located behind the Valley Stream pool on Merrick Road in Valley Stream, from 7-8:30pm. Auditions will be cold reads or monologue of your choice. All types are welcome. If you need directions or have any questions, please feel free to call MCAP at (516) 783-8863.
