MDA had several small victories to celebrate, and the author touts them in her article... Every gun owner should read this and understand her message. As she points out, Mothers Against Drunk Driving took 14 years to have the majority of 50 states pass zero tolerance DUI laws... A noble effort sweeping the nation to protect us from drunk driving. MDAs intent is to see the legal gun owners of this country disarmed... None of their suggested legislation prevents gun crime or makes this world safer. It is similar to the early National Socialist Party of Germany in its effort to disarm civilians and make police and military the only armed force in the country. We cant let them say do it for the kids... Hitler said the same thing about his programs, claiming they were in the interest of future generations.
