MDC WARNS OF FAKE FACEBOOK ACC IN THE NAME OF ELIZABETH TSVANGIRAI SEEKING TO SWINDLE PEOPLE A fraudulent facebook page in the name of Mrs Tsvangirai has started soliciting for financial assistance in what could be a scam to defraud people in the name of the MDC President’s wife who has nothing to do with that page. Mrs Elizabeth Tsvangirai has nothing to do with the facebook page called Elizabeth Macheka Tsvangirai-First Lady, a fraudulent page whose popularity is growing phenomenally every day.Amai Tsvangirai dissociates herself from this page which she believes has been started by people out to tarnish and soil her name and image.Today,the fraudulent page posted a letter supposedly from a family seeking financial assistance to pay legal fees. This could be a scam by fraudsters seeking to make money using the name of Tsvangirai. Mrs Tsvangirai is very clear that there is a sinister motive on the part of the people behind this page, which now started sourcing for money in her name.We urge Zimbabweans to be wary of anyone who purports to be transacting business or sourcing money in the name of Amai Tsvangirai, who has nothing to do whatsoever with the facebook page that has greatly soiled her name and image in Zimbabwe and beyond.
