MDF & Pine timber and CNC routers have made slot track building so much easier these days but, dont be fooled Amigos. A lot of long hours and behind the scenes work is still needed to bring a track to life. What started as a few sheets of man made timber, a router, some paint, braid and screws, has produced one of the best scale model slot car tracks you will ever see or drive on. However, all this wouldnt be possible without the hard work and dedication of some very talented people who love slot cars. A BIG thank you goes to Bruno G (track builder/cabinet maker extroadinaire) and Bill J (painter, braid layer, pinstriper, assembler etc.) who have put in the most hours, to Gary S for the track wiring, to our neighbour with the big CNC router and big heart, Steve Anderson, and to Garry Johnson for the track design and timing system. Also, to Shane A (ill get you back) for inspiring me to fork out lots of money for our new Brabham track which will be the feature of our Scale Model Nationals to be held on the June long weekend 2015.
