ME is currently stable. The next 24-48 hrs will tell us a lot about her condition. She has some positive things going for her but the situation is very scary and serious. I dont know if I have ever been this worried or scared since her diagnosis and relapse. One thing we do know is that we are in good hands and Mary E is strong. She has defied the odds multiple times and I have no reason to believe this time will be any different. We need her to stay stable and to keep coming down off the O2 requirements. We need to see her improve so I can feel better about her and this situation. It is so painful seeing your child lay helpless and noncommunitive. I have begged God to heal her and to bring her back to us. I need her to come home and back to a normal life. She is the most amazing person I have ever known and I know I cant function without her. My child, my friend and my sweet, sweet baby that I prayed so long for. She completed my life and made me such a proud mom. I have so much hope and many plans for her future. We are not done. I imagine her grown and married and doing great things. I imagine Jesus himself giving her His healing blood and the Holy Spirit restoring her health. Thank you for you constant prayers and love. This is what we need the most. We are in a small room in ICU and dont have room for much right now. You bless us most with your prayers or giving to organizations that help children and families battling childhood cancer. We love you all and will update you as things improve. *Jude is invoked in desperate situations because his New Testament letter stresses that the faithful should persevere in the environment of harsh, difficult circumstances, just as their forefathers had done before them. Therefore, he is the patron saint of desperate cases and his feast day is October 28. Saint Jude is not the same person as Judas Iscariot who betrayed Our Lord and despaired because of his great sin and lack of trust in Gods mercy.
