MEANWHILE BACK IN TE PUKE... With the magazine all done for another issue, it was straight back out into the scrub this afternoon to chase the local fallow. Plan was to check the trail cam that I have set up at a new spot. Long story short, batteries went flat after three days... they were the same set I used for the Kaipo trail cam mission, was just hoping to squeeze a couple more weeks out of them! All good though, I managed to film a couple of deer getting stuck into the spring growth on a couple of small bush clearings I hunt. Cheers, Nik/NZG&H
