MECU Neighborhood Event Grants Application Deadline: Friday, March 21 at 5:00 PM MECU Main Office, 7 E. Redwood Street, Floor 20 The MECU Neighborhood Event Grants program distributes funds to qualified neighborhood associations and community-based, nonprofit groups for the purpose of strengthening neighborhoods through producing events, such as street festivals, health fairs and block parties. All applications will be judged by a selection committee based on the clarity, design, readiness, value, and commitment of the project or event. Application is due by 5:00 PM on March 21. Mandatory event planning workshop for 2013 grant recipients is Saturday, April 29 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the MECU main office.
