MEDIA BIAS = NEWS THATS A LIE. jh Michael Ramirez: Five-time Emmy award winning investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson has left CBS News. Over the past year, CBS has largely sidelined her because she actually wanted to do her job. Sharyl was accused by some at CBS of having a partisan agenda and for overzealously pursuing Obama Administration Scandals. Funny, they didn’t mention her partisan leanings when she got an Emmy for uncovering GOP Congressional fundraising or the Bank Bailout. Sharyl was one of the few reporters in the mainstream media who actually understands what the word “journalism” means. Unfortunately, her outstanding coverage of Benghazi, Fast and Furious and Solyndra did not result in the accolades that she deserved. Instead, it earned her excommunication from her network and the Church of Our Lady of Media Bias and the Cult of the Leg-tingling Lapdog. So, it should be no surprise that according to the Media Research Center, the big three networks covered President Obama’s Funny or Die Obamacare enrollment video with the Hangover star 100 times more than the HHS’ report on the dismal February enrollment numbers. Obamacare enrollment numbers are almost 3 million short of their goal of 7 million. Never mind, that the these numbers do not reveal how many of these people actually paid for insurance, or what small percentage of these enrollments were the vital young people needed to fund this new entitlement, or what tiny percentage of these enrollees actually did not have health insurance before. If any of those numbers were good or even close, you would have heard about them. The networks also didn’t seem too interested in the fact that more people have lost their insurance than people who have signed up. The networks haven’t asked what happened to those supposedly over 40 million people the president mentioned who needed health insurance. You mean he lied? Nooooooooo..... The MSM failed to mention that little gem. If you like your truth you can keep it to yourself. The networks also failed to mention Sebelius’ lie about never picking 7 million enrollments as the administration’s goal of success because according to the HHS report only 4.2 million had signed up -not paid for, health insurance. In fact, none of the networks even mentioned the dismal HHS report except CBS in one line… during the introduction of their enthusiastic coverage of the promotional Obamacare video. But before you give CBS any credit, you should’ve guessed… CBS led the other networks in dedicating the most time to the President, once again, lowering the dignity of his office. It’s not like there are important things the president needs to dedicate his precious time to, like Russian invasions or global instability or no jobs and a lackluster economy…. After all, desperate times require desperate measures… next stop, American Idol. Better yet, a guest appearance in Hangover IV, where Uncle Sam wakes up in a bath tub full of ice with Obamacare tattooed on the side of his face, a trillion dollar bill stapled to his chest with crappy healthcare and a few teeth and both his kidneys missing wondering, “What have I done….” If CBS had any sense, they would have promoted Sharyl and stood apart as the only one of the big three network news departments actually doing its job. Instead, Sharyl walks away from CBS and takes with her the last vestige of real investigative reporting and the giant “C” representing credibility that was barely left dangling after the Dan Rather Forged Documents Scandal. Now, the network is left with nothing but its remaining BS. D.P.
