MEDIA RELEASE 28 February 2014 JOIN! TROPHY DESIGN CONTEST… JOIN! TROPHY DESIGN CONTEST... BE A PART OF THE ADVOCACY OF PROMOTING SERVICE EXCELLENCE IN THE PHILIPPINES TOURISM INDUSTRY! TOURISM STAR PHILIPPINES MECHANICS: 1. The contest is open to all Filipino citizens. 2. The submitted trophy design should symbolize the Filipino brand of service excellence and should reflect Philippine culture. 3. The design shall contain the logo of the Tourism Star Philippines and a space provided for Star identification. 4. The design should be saved in .JPEG format with a template file name of and submitted to dot.otsr@gmail with subject TSP DESIGN. Include in the body of the email your: Full name, Address, Contact Number and an explanation of the symbol and/or representations used in the design. 5. The image file size/resolution of the design should be big enough to fill a letter-sized bond paper and should be detailed enough with labels to identity the dimensions, color and materials of the trophy. Designs submitted must include the top, front, right and left side views. 6. There are no restrictions on the dimensions of the trophy and the material to be used. Explore your creativity. 7. All entries submitted to the provided e-mail address will be uploaded in an album of the DOT s official Facebook account. 8. Designs must be done either in free hand or with the use of any rendering / illustrating software. The artist will be held accountable for any issues that may arise with regard to the originality and authenticity of his / her design. 9. Submitted designs will be judged with the following criteria: Number of Photo likes (Facebook) - 20% Originality of Design - 30% Aesthetic - 30% Ingenuity of Material Used - 20% 10. Only one (1) entry will win. The winning designer will receive an all-expense paid 3D/2N trip to a domestic tourist destination and will also be acknowledged during the Tourism Star Philippines Awards Night. 11.
