MEDIA RELEASE-UPDATE On May 3, 2014 at approximately 1:00PM a Disaster Preparedness Drill will commence on Depot Street at or around the entrance of the Lincoln Pulp and Tissue Paper Mill. The following agencies will be participating in the drill; Lincoln Mill Security, Pan Am Railways, Penobscot Valley Hospital, Lincoln EMS, Police and Fire, Mattawamkeag FD, Burlington FD, Lowell FD, Howland FD, Enfield EMS, Lee FD, State Police, Penobscot Sheriff’s Office. The drill is expected to last approximately three (3) hours. Citizens should be aware that this is only a drill. Citizens can expect to see an increase in traffic during this time, especially traffic of emergency responders. Adams Street will be closed for approximately 8 hours to accommodate participating organizations.
