MEDIUMSHIP PART 2 AND MANS PURPOSE IN LIFE I mentioned in the last - TopicsExpress

MEDIUMSHIP PART 2 AND MANS PURPOSE IN LIFE I mentioned in the last posting of my first experience of mediumship. Here are some others: There was a lovely lady in her 80/90s who was a well known medium who travelled the region giving mediumship. She was so comfortable with her gift and it was a real joy to watch and listen to her as she roamed up and down the aisles giving messages. She came to one woman in the front and said that she had this man in spirit that this elderly woman knew as a child. “Do you know who I mean she asked. “No” replied the woman. “He lived in the same street as you a few doors down. A big chap but not well. Now do you remember him” “No, replied the woman. “Oh dear you’re going to make me work today aren’t you” said the medium who then went quiet for a second or two and came back to tell the woman the name of the tow, the street and the house number where the man lived. Also, that every day that woman when a child would go into this man’s house before and after school to see if he wanted anything as he was bed ridden. The woman suddenly remembered and tears came pouring out when the medium said that this man had been waiting over 60 years for the opportunity to thank her for all the kindnesses heaped upon him while he was ill. This and other message that I will relate, including a message I received on one occasion, in other postings convinced me that there is no death. We just move on but it is not simply moving from physical to a spiritual world that some call heaven, or nirvana. I will explain my thoughts on this in later postings but I would like to quote something from Seth who I will introduce you to soon. It’s from the book Dreams, Evolution and Value Fulfillment. Page 238 MANS PURPOSE “Man does have an instinct and desire to live, and he has an instinct and a desire to die. The same applies to other creatures. In his life [each] man is embarked upon a cooperative venture with his own species, and that other species, and dying he also in that regard acts in a cooperative manner, returning his physical substance to the earth. Physically speaking man’s “purpose” is to help enrich the quality of existence of all of its dimensions. Spiritually speaking his “purpose” is to understand the qualities of love and creativity, to intellectually and psychically understand the sources of his being, and to lovingly create other dimensions of reality of which he is unaware. In his thinking, in the quality of his thoughts, in their motion, he is indeed experimenting with a unique and a new kind of reality, forming other subjective worlds which will in their turn grow into consciousness and song, which will in their turn flower from a dream dimension into other ones. Man is learning to create new worlds. In order to do so he has taken on many challenges.”
