MEENAKSHI DEVI is a form of Paravati, Lord Shivas wife Shakti in Hinduism. The name in two parts means Big, beautiful eyes or Fish eyes as Meen means big and beautiful but also fish (as the fish in Hinduism are said to feed the little children with their eyes) and akshi means simply eyes. The diety is representing the trials every worshipper of God have to go through in life and in India there is a special temple dedicated to Minakshi Devi. She´s also said to be the one cleaning up the mess after Lord Shiva when he as the destroyer of the Universe dirts and messes up all individual forms symbolized as pots as Lord Shiva leaves to Meenakshi to take care of and clean for him. That´s why every man needs a good trial of tests and trouble in life to vanish the dirt and confusion in his soul to go clear, and clean himself before God to be able to develope and heal himself as a preparation to unite with the Divine self and the reason why people not allways have a pure and simple life when preparing it for the Lord, as their souls must go through fire to become Gold and become really clean and cleared out. Because if some plate is dirty since LIFE was eating on it we put it in the dishes... So every time you do your dishes, think about how Meenakshi as an aspect of God or life cleans your soul with trials every time since life was eating on it and messing it up...Because to heal you and prepare your unitement with God The Lord of Life itself is both the one messing up and clearing out your soul making it to pure Gold or wisdom in his furnace/oven,,,:) Meenakshi poem: Shiva wanders through the courtyard of space destroying your work again and again, and then comes before you dancing. You never get angry. Every day, you just pick up the vessels...
