MEET GENTLE HOPE! What can we say? Words are not enough to convey her story - even if we knew it. Her photos, captured by Memoirs of a Dog, say eveything there needs to be said. She was found running loose in Pittsburg and we can only imagine what she was running from. The scars on her face suggest previous fighting. Her emaciated body tells the tale of hunger and neglect. She has had it bad. But her spirit is beautiful! And her love of people is obvious. Our staff describe her as a sweet & submissive lovebug. This gentle creature leans in for hugs and places her head on laps for assurance. She is submissive and avoidant of other dogs (of course) and will need a patient and nurturing family to help her heal and provide her with unconditional love.
