MEET THE FOUNDER! Shedlea Chapman, Founder/President Ms. Chapman was born and raised in Wickliffe, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. While growing up, she performed on stage at various local theatres, gaining insight on how productions are run. After earning her Associates Degree in Theatre from Lakeland Community College, she decided to focus on behind-the-scenes work vs. in front of the camera. Ms. Chapman transferred to Cleveland State University and enrolled in First College, which allowed her to declare her own major, Film Production. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from CSU, Ms. Chapman immediately relocated to Los Angeles, California, where she currently resides. Within two years of heavily networking and getting hands-on experience in the Entertainment Industry, Ms. Chapman naturally gravitated towards producing. Some successful shows that she has worked on are The Rachel Zoe Project, Deal or No Deal, Dancing With the Stars, America’s Next Top Model, BET Comic View, BET Comedy Awards, Black Movie Awards, Laffapalozza, Namic Vision Awards, Mo’Nique’s Fat Chance, Ray Cash“Bumpin’ My Music” Video, Pryslezz “ More Than a Love Song” Video, The Tom Joyner Show, NAACP Image Awards, TV1 Gospel of Music With Jeff Majors, BET Celebration of Gospel, A Midsummer’s Night, Blind Date, Pepsi’s Play for a Billion, Wired Science, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Mama’s Boys and Me, The Nigerian Independence Day Celebration and a multitude of other productions. While working on productions, Ms. Chapman finds time to volunteer as a mentor to foster children at Children United Nations (CUN) in Los Angeles, California. With a Real Estate license in Ohio and California, she’s able to provide professional help to distressed homeowners. With knowledge in production, mentoring and real estate, Ms. Chapman genuinely gives back to the communities that helped to nurture her through her non-profit, SAC Entertainment Foundation. Her main goal is to improve humanity through her productions.
