Kirsten Marshall regarding RCMP initiatives. - Presentation by Pat and Cathy Taekema, and Doug Kerr (employer), regarding logging truck noise complaint. - Staff report recommending signing of a five-year License of Occupation with the Bulkley Valley Farmers Market Association. - Staff report recommending Lorraine Doiron be appointed to the Smithers Public Library Board. - Staff report seeking direction from Council regarding logging trucks parked overnight in residential zones. - Staff report regarding three potential projects eligible for New Building Canada Fund - Small Community Fund grants. - Staff report regarding the opportunity to revitalize two vacant Imperial Oil properties located at 4083, 4071, 4055 Highway 16 and 3891 Highway 16. - Staff report regarding the Federal Gas Tax Strategic Priorities Fund (funding opportunity). - Letter from Mayan Holdings Ltd. requesting a 5-year contract to provide a beverage vending machine in the Civic Centre and a snack/beverage vending machine in the new arena, with 12 percent of sales to go to the Smithers Figure Skating Club. - Request from the Bulkley Valley Lakes District Airshed Management Society requesting a financial contribution and permission for the Works and Operations Staff to accept decommissioned stoves.
