MEETING WITH REV. T.L.OSBORNE A camp meeting was going on in Oklahoma. Rev. T.L. Osborne was scheduled to speak in one of those night meetings and Pastor Abraham and his associate were his guests. Although Osborne was the invited speaker, after an introductory speech, he presented Pastor Abraham to the audience and asked him to speak. In his introduction he made the following remark about Pastor Abraham, Dear friends, Pastor Abraham is the first of the pioneer Pentecostal workers now living in South India, and also the leader of the largest Pentecostal group there. Although I have heard a lot of appreciation about him and his work both in India and here in the United States, I was fortunate to meet him only today. As God has sent him to us, I am not going to speak today; I am requesting him to speak. In that meeting God sent a great revival among the people. At the end, many came forward for prayer. While they were praying, Rev. Osborne helped the choir by playing the accordion for them. One sick old man who was paralyzed below his waist was completely healed. He threw away his crutches and walked in front of the platform without any help. When Rev. Osborne saw this, he came forward and spoke to the multitude through the loud speaker: This is the time for the children of God from countries like India and Africa to come to the United States. Thus Gods name was glorified. During this tour, some of the notes given by Pastor Abraham in Hebron Bible College were translated and printed in English. Those notes are being used by many ministers in the United States as well as in India. During this sixth missionary journey Pastor Abraham was glad to meet several believers who were blessed in different ways through his past ministry. His return journey was through Palestine. This gave Pastor Abraham an opportunity to attend the world Pentecostal Conference held in the Jerusalem Parliament House in May 1961.
