MELBOURNE TATTOO LOVERS! *PLEASE READ* Capricorn Body Art is hosting a fundraising flash day, where you can dig deep and donate to humanitarian aid in Gaza, simply by getting a cool tattoo! For one day, August 31st, all the donations collected will go to The Jerusalem Fund - an independent, non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization based in Washington, D.C. The team at Capricorn hope you can help make a difference in the lives of those who have been displaced in the conflict between Isreal and Palestine. Citizens in Gaza are currently living on three hours of electricity a day, thousands have lost their homes and returned to rubble during the ceasefire, hospitals have been shut down, schools destroyed and worst of all, people have been killed. We do not support violence - body modification culture is a refuge for the marginalised and a home for freedom and expression. This is a worthy cause to contribute to, and would love your participation! Heres what you need to know about the day! The shop will open at 10am. There will be plenty of designs to choose from by all artists: Benny, Terry, Andy, TJ and apprentice Clair. The fundraiser is donation based, and you are encouraged to give as much as you can over the minimum of $100. Temporary tattooing will also be available! With your donation, your name will go in the draw to win a $500 tattoo voucher with us! There will be a BBQ lunch available and snacks to get you through the day - its sure to be a busy one!
