MEMBERS - Discipline and your dog(s) The last few weeks people have been posting on how to take care of bad behaviors and I was really hesitant adding my 2 cents worth for my fix works for me and might not for you..but this came in today from one of our members so in case you missed it and YES, it really does work: Susan Peri Limones 12 mins · Trenton, TX Ive had my pup (female, blue merle) for 4 weeks making her 12 weeks now. After the first day she became a biting, uncontrollable terror. I was stressed 24/7, yet worked diligently on training her and wearing her out with non-aggressive play time and constant positive reinforcement (words/treats). Finally paid a trainer to work with us to abate the biting. Angel at Puppy School - Terror at home... Couldnt hold, touch, put on leash, etc., without thinking she needed an exorcism! I followed all advise and am educated enough to know about pack leaders and dominance. NOTHING worked until.... I bought a spray bottle yesterday. Sprayed her ONE TIME as she bit me. New dog. All I have to do is touch the bottle. She now licks us, lays by us and lets us pet and love on her. Seriously? A $1.00 solution.
