MEMBERS NEWS Youngsheen A. Jhe will have a solo show; The Unseen Thru the Seen at Pleiades Gallery in New York City, which runs July 8 - August 2. Opening reception Thursday, July 10, 6-8pm Carol Wontkowski will be exhibiting at the Next Door Gallery, 250 No. Main St., Mansfield, MA in their Summer Exhibit. Runs From June 21 thru September 14, 2014. Reception: June 21, 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Carols work was also selected for the Attleboro Arts Museums See the Light national exhibition, running from June 25-July 23, 2014. Reception is June 25, 7-9pm. Two of Philip Gersteins paintings will be at the Twenty Fifth International Juried Exhibition at the Viridian Artists Gallery, Chelsea, New York, NY, July 1-19, 2014 -- juried by Katherine Brinson, Curator at the Guggenheim Museum. RECEPTION: Thursday, July 10, 6-8PM. C. J. Lori had two paintings, Twilight Intersections I and Twilight Intersections III selected for the exhibition A Fine Line at Rocky Neck Cultural Center Gallery in Gloucester, MA. The show was juried by Al Miner, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Arts at the Museum of Fine Art, Boston. The show is open to the public, July 3 - August 3, with an opening reception on Saturday, July 12, 4-7 p.m. Cynthia Maurice is participating in Work for Food: A Benefit at Room 83 Spring in Watertown, MA, benefitting several local food pantries. The exhibition runs from June 5 - June 26, with a reception on Sunday, June 15 from 3-5pm. Maggie McCauleys photographs were featured on Boston Magazines arts round up page in the Home issue, Essentials/Happenings written by Gina Tomaine. Julie Gorns solo exhibition at Acton Memorial Library is up until June 30th. Richard Kattmans Painted Transcendental Abstractions is at the Fruitlands Museum, where he is presently an Artist in Residence. The exhibition runs from June 14th through August 10th, with an opening reception on the 14th from 1-3pm. Richards work was also selected for the Attleboro Arts Museums See the Light national exhibition, running from June 25-July 23, 2014. Reception is June 25, 7-9pm. Marjorie Kaye was juror for the Attleboro Arts Museums See the Light national exhibition. Other Galatea artists included in addition to Richard Kattman and Carol Wontkowski are Barry Margolin, and Christina Beecher. The exhibition dates are June 25th - July 23rd, with an Opening Awards Reception on Wednesday, June 25th, 7-9pm.
