MEMORIAL BON FIRE set for DEWEY BEACH on Friday, Oct 11th at 7pm/10pm. Rain date of Saturday. Location: Dewey Beach at the foot of Dickinson Street. This Event is Free and Open to all Dewey goers. Sponsored by Greyhound Action League of Buffalo (GAL) and Greyhounds In Need of Adoption (GINA). A short presentation will be given at the beginning of the Fire. Folks are welcome to bring pieces of paper with their Greyhound or Greyhound Humans name to drop in the fire. If you want to say a few words, we welcome that, although please be brief (30 / 60 seconds) so that others may do the same. You do not have to speak you can just place your paper in the fire. The Fire should last about 3 hours so you can stop by at any point to spend some time remembering your beloved greyhound or friend. This will also allow folks to enjoy all the other wonderful events already scheduled. We offer this Memorial Event in a casual fashion so that you can take a few moments to reflect and remember all the happiness and love our greyhounds and their supporters have given us.
