MENS FOOTBALL: Aghyaran were the visitors to Gortacladdy on Sunday for a Division 2 League game. There was no reserve game as Aghyaran did not field. In the senior game Kildress claimed an important home win to boost their league placings. Aghyaran started well and by half time had built up a commanding lead of 1-5 to 0-3. However the Tones improved considerably in the second half .with Martin Grimes scoring from the penalty spot to clinch victory. Final Score Kildress 1-8 Aghyaran 1-5.
