MERCHANDISING SUPERVISOR LOCATION: WESTMORELAND & ST. JAMES CORE FUNCTION: A hard working individual is required to provide guidance and assistance in maintaining the merchandising standard of the company. Ensure merchandisers price, pack, and display and promote goods to maximize sales, and also to ensure that expired stocks are identified and remove from the stores within set time frame. Primary responsibilities will include (but not limited to): • Supervise the daily activities of the Merchandisers • Monitor the building and maintenance of attractive planogram & displays in store • Ensure that Merchandisers correctly price the products on a timely basis • Monitor the Retrieval of expired and damaged goods from shelves • Assist in locating sufficient shelf space for displays • Assisting with the promotion of new products • Provide information and feedback to the office and Sales Reps. • Any other duties assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Diploma in Marketing or Supervisory Management • Sales and or marketing experience • One year experience in a supervisory position • Own and operate a reliable motor vehicle • Must be computer literate • Own a computer REQUIRED SKILLS AND SPECIALIZED TECHNIQUES • Excellent oral and written communication • Principles and practices of supervision • Exercise high level of confidentiality Please submit application to: recruitment_ja@yahoo NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2014
