MERLIN JACK RUSSEL X DACHSHUND **********HAS BEEN FOUND************* An unbelievable story. Merlin, whose lineage gives a few clues that he is not suited to long distance X Country travelling has been found at his home in Collector. My poor friend who was looking after Merlin told me he was going to check if Merlin had tried to get home to Collector from Goulburn - this would be some 30 kms. I didnt tell him that I thought this would be a triumph of optimism over experience & was ridiculous - it was only 24 hrs since Merlin dissappeared & the Wollondilly River & all surrounding Creeks were in flood & if he went by the Highway ................... :( Well, Merlin was at his home in Collector tonight, albeit with sore paws but otherwise OK. As my husband says, the more he gets to really know dogs, the more amazed he is. So lets give all our doggies an extra cuddle/pat, because they are something beyond special. Merlin - the Magician - so appropriately named. Also Kathy Staples, could you kindly remove the post, thankyou XC
