MERRY CHRISTMAS ------------------------------ Jesus Christ is the meaning of everything, and nothing has meaning without Him. God has given us sonship by Him and for Him. We become something when we are in Him, and we are nothing when we are not in Him. If we are not in Him we are not sons - we have no relationship with God, but are on our own. “But as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God.” This is a miracle. God didn’t loan Jesus. God doesn’t do things on a temporary basis. He has no occasional interests, one-off phases, no past and no yesterdays, no dispensations. What He ever was, He is forever, changelessly. The greatest mystery is how the unchangeable God became Man, became what He wasn’t. But “great is the mystery of godliness, God was manifest in the flesh”. Putting on manhood He never cast it aside. He didn’t remove His human form in glory, like a diver taking off his suit after a plunge into the waters. The greatest name in heaven and on earth is human, Jesus Christ – the name above all names. Never follow a parked car, you will get nowhere. It is important to keep following the move of the Holy Spirit.
