TO ALL MEMBERS: Dear members of the Jersey City My Hometown, Please be aware that posting of any photographs that violate Facebooks guidelines should not be posted in this group. Let me stress and emphasize that in this group any posts including photographs should be directly related to the theme of this group, which is Jersey City and everything that evolves around our hometown. To all the spammers, who basically entered our group like that Trojan horse to just post advertisement and other unwanted information on our page please refrain from doing so or we will comb through the Members List and remove and then bloc those who clearly dont belong to our group. And to those so concerned about on unwanted posts or those that are basically violating the guidelines on Facebook - please do not report directly such post to the Facebook management but to our admin team instead. By reporting directly to Facebook not only it tarnishes our reputation but also puts in jeopardy the Facebook membership of of each and every single admin who is responsible for this group. Just yesterday my account was suspended only because some of you reported an unwanted post directly to Facebook. I dont wish for my personal account to get suspended because of such trivial matter. It is very hard for us to see every single post and to moderate this group, however we will do our best to at least remove unwanted posts once they are reported to us and not to the management of Facebook. Once again this is a very serious matter and we will greatly appreciate if each member of this group would honor our request. We thank you for your cooperation.
