MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO THE FAMILY, RELATIVES AND FRIENDS OF THE LATE EMMY CHEPNG’ETICH RUTO It is with a deep sense of loss that I send you this message of condolence and encouragement following the death of your beloved daughter and one of the young dedicated Kenyan Ms Emmy Chepng’etich Ruto who passed on after a short illness. It is hard to comprehend how the cruel hand of death has so suddenly snatched Emmy Chepng’etich from our midst. She was an energetic, jovial and an extremely pleasant person to deal with. The death of Emmy reminds us that we are sojourners in this earth. It is therefore prudent for all of us to be focused and contribute to the wellbeing of our society. Emmy Chepng’etich was one of the few young professional Kenyans whose innovativeness and creativity has immensely contributed to the agenda of lighting up the whole nation through her skill as an electrical engineer. For the period she has worked at the Geothermal Development Company, Emmy has proved to be a dependable person whose efforts were geared towards the success of the nation. Her participation in social activities such as the game of cricket, which saw her being appointed as the captain of National Women Cricket team, was valuable contribution to the growth of sports in the country. Despite her success, the late Emmy learnt the virtue of humility which enabled her to always mingle with both the lowly and the mighty in society. I sincerely hope the Lord Almighty will give you strength and fortitude to bear the loss. In this hour of sorrow, I convey my deep sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives and friends of Governor Isaac Ruto and the residents of Bomet County.
