MESSAGE OF PAX CHRISTI TO AFAD ON ITS 15TH ANNIVERSARY Kommission Solidarität Eine Welt June 8th 2013 Dear Mugiyanto, dearest Mary Aileen, on the occasion of the 15th Anniversary of AFAD I want to express in the name of pax Christi Germany my deepest appreciation and congratulation to the immense work you and all the members of AFAD since so many years have done and still are doing on behalf of the thousands of disappeared persons and their families in the vast Asian region. You never have failed in this arduous struggle against this horrible crime of enforced disappearance and put all your strength in the campaign for universal accession and implementation of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance. There are so many memories of massacres and beloved brothers and sisters disappeared in many countries, of companions who gave their lives within this struggle for justice like Munir.
