MESSAGE Three minutes of afternoon expression I should always refine what I write and do the sporadic rhyme, but somehow, I just never take the time.. ********* When the world seems so cruel and unkind, When troublesome feelings and thoughts flood my mind, The pain is lessened as I can resign myself to know How blessed is my soul. For all the trouble, evil, and worldwide woe For all the right that has now become wrong The pain is lessened with listening to Christian songs. When questioning becomes the hourly doubts of just how long this insanity will go on, And all the natural disasters, the wars and murderous deeds that the media daily seeks to sensationalize The pain becomes a comfort when I realize Earth is not my final destination. My inward eye sees heaven as the ultimate prize. Why should I feel despair and greef. My soul has the love of God for full relief. The pain is lessened when scriptures of long ago Comforts and heals the fear that is in my soul Onward, we must all go until the curtain is at last closed On the stage that measures space and time... It is not God, the one who is unkind, It is those who seek evil and shame, those who seek to destroy all that is holy and good, so let us speak with one Mind, Let us love and trust God all the time.
