METAMORPHOSIS (Excerpts from Devotional Box - a daily devotional by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth) *** 23rd November, 2014 *** TITLE: WHERE IS YOUR SACRIFICE? *** John 3:16 ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life’. *** In life, there is always a price to pay for everything. The rate at which you would experience new things in your life is tied to your readiness to continually give what it takes to secure them. This is made evident in our opening scripture today; God gave up His Son to redeem the world. Halleluyah! God’s infallible strategy involves depriving oneself of something precious to gain something even more precious. King Solomon’s sacrificial offering provoked God to visit Him (1Kings 3); even the King of Moab gave his son to secure victory against Israel (2Kings 3). How resolute are you in securing what God has promised you? It must reflect in how much you are willing to give up to make it happen. What are you envisioning for 2015? Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to that which you must sacrifice to attract something new into your life. Listen for His voice today so you might gain instruction for a brand new season in your life. Halleluyah! *** ISAIAH PROPHESIES: Receive wisdom to know what to give today in Jesus name. *** ACTION POINTS *** DO THIS: Consider what precious thing you can offer to the Lord today for the bigger picture you can see in the coming year. Ask the Holy Spirit for His guidance. *** SAY THIS: I decree and I declare that I live above all the dangers of this life. *** STUDY YOUR BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: MICAH 3&4, ACTS 9, PROVERBS 27 *** CHRISTIAN MISSION FOCUS ANDORRA 27% are unreached with the Gospel of Christ. Biblical Christianity struggles to retain a foothold. Catholicism has lost much of its zeal and the handful of other congregations where evangelicals worship, grows very slowly. PRAY FOR ANDORRA: We are praying that the Gospel of Christ will prevail in Andorra. *** STARTUP PRAYER: Dear Lord, open my eyes to see that which I must sacrifice for an encounter with you in Jesus name. *** PRAYER OF CONSECRATION Oh Lord my God, I thank you for your mercy over my life. As the year winds up, I ask for wisdom to position myself in the place of advantage, so that I may in nothing be short of that in which you have written of me. Speak to me that word that would radically retime, reschedule and restore my destiny.
