Sayyidina Ibnu Umar bai tsaya kawai ga gargadin iyalinsa ba sai da ya je wajen jagoran wannan yunkuri Abdullahi bin Muti’u. Sai ya ce, to, Allah Ta’ala ya soke wannan shaida taku, don cewa ya yi: ( ﺍﻻ ﻣﻦ ﺷﻬﺪ ﺑﺎﻟﺤﻖ ﻭﻫﻢ ﻳﻌﻠﻤﻮﻥ( ﺳﻮﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺰﺧﺮﻑ٨٦ : “Face wadanda suka yi shaida da gaskiya, kuma suna sane (da abinda suka yi shaida a kansa).
