I had the Mophie Juice Pack Pro for my iPhone 4 and it did the job and then some. It had fantastic battery capacity and perfect protection. It was a bulky case, but I like that, as I like something to hold on to when I use the iPhone. I was very hopeful for a Mophie Juice Pack Pro for the iPhone 5, but nothing has come out so far, and Ive gotten tired of waiting. That aside, the iBattz Mojo Refuel Armor is the closest thing Ive found so far. It has great protection and outstanding battery life. I often go through a day without the iPhone battery ever kicking in. Charging is as easy as other cases with the micro USB cable. I like the feel of the case and the protection. The only issues I have with it are the standby switch and the plastic cover. The standby switch is on the outside of the case, on the lower back corner. The rubber cover that goes around the case has a raised button to access this switch. When I carry the phone in my pocket the button may push against something and turn off. I would prefer a button covered by a rubber flap, like the USB port cover and the headphone jack cover. Regarding the plastic cover, I use a Spigen SGP Glas.t screen protector, the best on the market Ive found so far, and it makes the iPhone just tall enough for the plastic cover not to snap firmly in place all the way around. Once I put the rubber cover on it keeps everything snugly together, but I wish it were just a tad larger to work with the screen protector. While the plastic cover came with a screen protector, it was not one I was satisfied with, and I cut it out of the plastic cover. Once youve got your phone in the case, it just feels like a big heavy case, it doesnt feel like a battery pack at all. Ive used it three times now on weekends when Ive either been on a sailboat or in the woods and it is just a great traveling companion. It basically doubles the life of the battery of your phone. With the extra enclosed battery, you can easily go two days without a charge and have plenty of juice left on the third day to get you home.Its also great for travel days that go longer than expected. Ever get stuck sharing an outlet at an airport with some geek making a loud, long Skype call?I didnt give it four or even five stars though because it charges off a USB mini connector, not a lightning connector, so you have to take the case apart to do a sync. I would use this as an everyday case if it were easier to do a sync and leave this case on, but you cant. Also, if youre not traveling with a small knife, the case is difficult to get apart. Harrell i was issued and iphone 5 at work with an otterbox case. it worked well but i found without a recharge after a few hours during the day my phone was hurting bad on battery life. This case is the best of both worlds.
