MH17 The passengers of MH17 would have experienced horror - TopicsExpress

MH17 The passengers of MH17 would have experienced horror before they lost their lives. 33,000ft in the air they would have been completely oblivious to the approaching BUK-M2 (SAM) missile as it raced from the separatist controlled Eastern Ukraine at Mach 3. as the BUK-m2 is launched the radar and gyroscopic sensors inside the missile re-acquire the targets radar beacon and transponder signal, taking over from the command and control systems on the launch vehicle (BUK SA-11) The missile then accelerated to catch up with the target, most likely drawing up close to MH17s underbelly invisible to the pilots, crew and passengers. Upon which the missiles proximity fuse would detonate the warhead. The missile is designed to air burst in order to achieve a hit on a rapidly moving target. This means flak! From the point of view of the passengers the detonation of the warhead may not even be audible. The first indication would be the noise of chunks of white hot flak (molten chunks of metal) tearing into the thin aluminium of the fuselage. Kind of like taking a shotgun to a coke can. Some flak may have entered the wings and therefore igniting the fuel tanks or causing an explosion however there wasnt much sign of fire damage from the pictures of the wreckage. So I find this unlikely Some flak could have damaged the planes hydraulics causing the failure of control surfaces making the plane nearly unflyable in an instant. Some flak may have damaged the engines Again causing control issues. However the wreckage was spread over a very large distance which indicates the planes demise was relatively slow, breaking into large sections before falling to the ground. In my opinion the horror on board MH17 would have been terrifying. I believe the flak from the missile caused simultaneous damage to the control systems, engines and superstructure of the airframe causing the plane to tear itself apart under the stresses of flight. the initial explosion would have killed and injured those unlucky enough to be hit directly by the flak however it could be argued the the fate of the survivors of this, was far worse! The plane tore itself apart around them and plummeted to the ground. We can only hope that the g forces from being thrown from the plane, lack of oxygen from the altitude, rapid decompression from fuselage damage or shock rendered them unconscious before flying debris (parts of the plane, luggage, personal belongings or worse other passengers) and gravity dealt the final blow. This tragedy has taken the lives of 298 international citizens from countries including 154 Dutch (Netherlands), 43 Malaysians including 15 crew and two infants, 27 Australians, 12 Indonesians including 1 infant, 9 Brits (UK), 4 Germans, 4 Belgians, 3 Philippines, 1 Canadian with a further 41 yet to be verified This is furthered by the loss of whole families holidaying together and that one family from Australia who were still grieving the loss of family members on MH370 a few months earlier lost two further members in this disaster. Enough is enough. The line should have been drawn when the first drop of innocent blood was spilled, now the hands of those responsible for unrest in Europe gush with the blood of 298 more innocent human beings. We demand #Justice4MH17
