MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT PRAISE REPORT: 13 of 1, 000 reasons to give thanks 1. Every cry whether in pain or frustration means life! there is something to cry about 2. Every painful feeding means there is a strong little boy on the other side of pain 3. All the wires and beeps and frustrating interference has a purpose and is attached to a life that needs it 4. Every sleepless moment is a moment to get to know the heart of God through service and sacrifice and getting to know His little creation. 5. Every unknown is an opportunity to see Gods provision and trust in His providence - all of a sudden I feel there is nothing else to rely on-and I am desperate 6. A newer slow pace to life has made me see more clearly what is important 7. A poopy diaper is reason to write a praise report ☺️ 8. All these things are technically out of my control and has helped me to break down a control freak tendency that is my natural desire 9. The Lord has given me laughter and levity to lighten my heavy heart- (a husband who is hilarious helps) I found myself laughing as I sang Jesus loves me to my 3 day old son and he gave me a face Simon Cowell would give an American Idol Reject. A good belly laugh brings healing. 10. Every nurse and doctor allows me to see the healing hands of God through ordinary people-and to witness the hands of a stranger serving and caring for someone i love is amazing. 11. Every life giving word of encouragement, prayer and gift given by friends, family and strangers increases a desire in my heart to give back and pay it forward to others who are hurting 12. I get to witness and benefit from a husband who knows Jesus become a lover of Jesus and lead his family in faith through a dark valley. A brave warrior not afraid to admit he is weak so He can be strong. 13 Having a dr and patient advocate go above authority to make sure we have a private room. Just an hour before we had no idea where we would be staying or how we would afford it- makes me well up to think about Gods provision in His perfect timing-worry is not necessary when you belong to Him!
