MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENTS: You should have received an email from this school with details regarding open house on Monday. Greetings Puma Parents!! We are hard at work creating schedules, reviewing immunizations and care plans, preparing lessons, moving furniture, counting textbooks, and-and-and; all with love and anticipation for our students on Monday! I can hear them now: I wonder what teachers are on my grade level team…Where is my locker going to be?...Is that new principal as mean as they say?...Does the new principal know how to at least do the Cha Cha Slide or the Wobble? Hmm……. Below is a bit of information you may like to share with your anxious Pumas: *The New Student and Parent Orientation is Thursday, 21 August, in the MPR from 1600-1700 HRS. *Advisory classes will be posted on the glass windows of the Main Entrance doors at 4:00 PM Friday, 22 August. We are still working fast and furiously. I will happily send a shout-out to all as soon as the lists are posted! If everything goes well, I may even send out the lists electronically. *Our Open House and Welcome Back Bar-B-Que will be held on Monday, 25 August. For our new families staying in the Ederle Inn, TMP has kindly organized a one-way, 30 passenger bus for parents to attend the Open House. For families staying at Hotel Mary, you may also catch the TMP bus at the Ederle Hotel. The bus will meet at the Ederle Inn at 0730 and Depart at 0745 to the Middle School. Please note: Parents cannot ride the students school buses in the morning, which is why this service has been provided. Parents must catch the 1:24 PM community bus back to Caserme Ederle. *Students will congregate out front Monday morning, around 0805, to meet and greet old friends and welcome new teammates! *The bell will ring at 0810. *Students will report to their Advisory class. *Parents will head in to the MPR for their welcome and orientation with the Principal. A copy of your childs schedule will also be available. *Students will receive a copy of their schedule, lockers, and planners during the Advisory period Monday morning. *At 8:55, parents will meet up with their students in Period 1. Parents and students will rotate through their schedule and meet the teachers for a brief orientation. *Open House classroom orientations will continue until our Bar-b-que lunch at 12:30. YUM!!! *Please be sure to bring in updated immunization certificates ASAP if your child needed some shots, and bring eligibility documents on Monday if applicable. *Please go to the PX to set up a lunch account or add money to your child’s existing account so all is in order on Monday. Sack lunches or cash are cool, as well. *Please Note: The front Bus Parking Lot is closed daily to unload & load students. Please do not try to pull in to this area to drop off or pick-up students *Be sure your child has his/her bus pass on Monday and each day. *I have also attached the SY2014-15 school calendar. *Enjoy your last weekend of fun and frolic with those ‘tweens!!
