MIDLOTHIAN—It may take some time for Prince George senior forward Serena Triscari to appreciate receiving the Conference 12 Most Valuable Player award she earned for her hand in the Royals 15-2 season this year. Not overly concerned with individual awards, Triscari would gladly trade her MVP honor for another game in the Conference 12 Tournament as her top-seeded Royals were upset by fourth-seeded Matoaca 2-1 in double overtime Tuesday night at River City Sports Complex. “All that matters to me is how my team does. I see all these game stories in the paper and I see how so and so scored these goals. I’ve never cared if my name was in the paper as long as my team came out on top,” Triscari said.
