MIDNIGHT BELLS Hasn’t it been Eon,a very long time, That You left me,and are gone, Nay,Every moment I feel your presence chime, I couldn’t find You ever again, and I’m worn, Here is all around me whiteness of snow, My loneliness reflected and My gloom, Breezes are full of Your scent you know, Midnight Bells from chapels announcing My doom, Mirrors I don’t see,Were ever framed of You and me, Only the bed still holds your softness,is warm, The night cuckoo sings like you, wicked is She, Our swings no more hold any swinging charm, I walk the valleys in the day with hope and gleam, Everyday a newer hope echoing through their way, Here and there I pick up your memories and beam, Smiling in your memories, then crying I lay, Every ship I search with a hope,on the Wharf, Madly I run to any face like you, from afar, Returning vessels I gaze till they are a dot Dwarf, Late evenings I return to abode, but keep doors ajar, Pressed for air, Sometimes My heart aches so hard, Oh I wonder, why I feel you are not too far Though days have turned to years,I’ve kept all card, Why is love this strong, with nothing at Par.
