MIDNIGHT DRAMA Tonight I spent a couple hours cleaning, doing laundry and cooking food for the weekend since I have several activities to attend and must have something to eat when I come home. My room-mates son comes home, bangs the door, and says: make sure food on that table eh..... Allyuh, at that very moment, I heard my saliva slow down as it trickled down my throat. The feathers on my back rose and the wares in the sink stared at me as tho they knew what was goin to happen next. I breathed deeply. My retort was: lol, time to get ah woman!. Hoping to pass it off as a joke, the 16 year old went upstairs, changed into his night wear and proceeded to the spotlessly clean kitchen with the aroma of callaloo, pie and pigeon peas prepared and covered down on the kitchen island. As I lifted the basked from the washing machine top to head upstairs, my dear facebookers, the creature CLAWED into the immaculate golden pie, used the same spoon to dash both peas and callaloo onto his plate. I cannot begin to explain the gross disrespect I witnessed tonight and I am torn. I have had issues with his mother throwing things belonging to me without my permission and when I asked: it was time to get rid of it. Hear me out and hear me good. I DONT CARE if my plum chow or my red plum or my macaroni salad go to purgatory in the fridge: DOH TOUCH IT unless u gonna eat some. Knowing that I wanted to pick up the plate and dash it in the bin, I would have been unkind and uncharitable so I walked upstairs feeling confused and unsettled. I still am. I want to go eat and I cant. Question: 1. What would you do? 2. Am I wrong to feel the way I am now..that boundaries are being crossed?
