MILDURA CRIME UPDATE - 4.7.13 An aggravated burglary occurred on a unit in Eileen St Mildura between 7pm on Thursday the 4th of July and 10pm on the 4th of July. The female victim was asleep in a back room when the offender/s entered via an unlocked window after first cutting a fly wire screen. The offender/s stole a mobile phone and a purse. A burglary occurred at a house in Koorlong Ave Irymple between 6am and 4pm on Thursday the 4th of July. The offender/s gained entry via an unlocked door and stole camping and other gear. A suspicious fire occurred in scrub land off Park St Nicholls Point at 8.45pm on Thursday the 4th of July. Fire brigade brought the fire under control and believe it may have been deliberately lit. Criminal damage occurred to a car in Wilson Court Mildura between 5.50pm and 6.10pm on Thursday the 4th of July. The victim’s car was parked in the driveway and suffered scratches along the side. Mildura - Theft from motor vehicle, nav man stolen. Red Cliffs – Theft from a motor vehicle, tools stolen from a tool box in the ute, Motorbike helmet, and a breast plate. Irymple - Theft from a motor vehicle (between 27-28 June) – just reported. An Engel fridge was stolen from utility whilst parked in the rear yard of private residence. Mildura - Criminal damage to an un-occupied residence to a plaster wall. Mildura - Criminal damage to windows and walls of un-occupied flat.
