MIM wins 101 wards in municipal elections Hyderabad : The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) has won 101 wards in the different districts, including those in Rayalaseema region. The MIM has fielded its candidates in 252 wards. Of them, MIM candidates emerged victorious in 101 wards. Of 24 candidates for Nizambad Municipal Corporation, the MIM was able to win 16 divisions. In other municipalities too, the MIM candidates gave an impressive performance. In Bhainsa, the MIM won 12 out of 15 wards that it contested. Similarly, it won 10 wards each in Nirmal and Tandur. The others municipalities where MIM candidates emerged victorious are Sangareddy - 8, Mahaboob Nagar - 7, Bodhan - 7, Koratla - 5, Adoni - 5, Adilabad - 4, Nalgonda - 3, Zaheerabad -3, Naryanpet - 2, Karimnagar (Corp) - 2 and one ward each in Sadasivpet, Vikarabad, Medak, Shadnagar, Kamareddy, Peddapalli and Kalwakurthi.
